R-456A is a zerotropic HFC+HFO refrigerant blend with zero ozone depletion and low global warming potential (GWP), developed as a “Drop-in” alternative to R-134a for existing installations in the automotive or Mobile Air Conditioning (MAC) sector. With a global warming potential of 687, R-456A has a similar performance compared to HFC-134a, achieving improvements in the order of 10% in cooling capacity.
R-456A has achieved an A1 safety classification, making it a low toxicity and non-flammable product.

Applications:
– Direct drop-in replacement in automotive air conditioning equipment (MAC).
– New installations (MAC).
Additional information:
– It is fully compatible with PAG and POE oils.
– R-456 contains R-134a gas in its composition, so leak detectors for R-134a are also useful for R-456A.
– R-456A is a zerotropic mixture with a glide or “Glide” of 4.8 ºC.
– With an Atmospheric Warming Potential of 687, it presents a reduction of more than 50% with respect to R-134a.
– It is also considered a product of low toxicity to aquatic organisms.
