R-422D is a mixture of HFC and HC refrigerant gases, non-azeotropic and non-ozone depleting, used as a substitute for R-22 in equipment with adjustable expansion system (TXV) with positive evaporation temperatures and averages down to -15°. w.
It was originally designed to replace R-22 in direct expansion water coolers. It can also be used in domestic and residential air conditioning systems, as well as in medium temperature refrigeration systems. Compatible with original system oil. Slightly lower cooling capacity than R-22. The expansion valve may need to be opened/adjusted.

– Water coolers.
– Ceiling.
– Multisplits/Cassette.
– Conservation chambers.
– Fast, simple and economical replenishment.
– Ozone friendly, ODP = 0.
– Compatible with original system oil.
– Allow maintenance of existing equipment.
– The equipment can be recharged in case of leakage.
– Much lower discharge temperatures than R-22, which extends compressor life.
– Cooling capacity and energy efficiency slightly lower than R-22.
