R-32 is a pure HFC refrigerant gas, with zero ozone depletion and low global warming potential, used in pure form in new small air conditioning equipment and also as a component in HFC blends.

Technical-commercial data: https://gas-servei.com/shop/docs/ficha-tecnico-comercial-r-32-gas-servei.pdf

R-32 is suitable for new equipment specially designed for R-32, in applications that normally used R-410A. It is not a retrofit gas. It has a GWP (GWP) within the accepted limits for refrigerant gases used in new equipment with a charge of less than 3 kg placed on the market as of 1/01/2025 according to European Regulation EC No. 517/2014.

It has excellent thermodynamic properties as a refrigerant. Its refrigeration characteristics are similar to R-22 and R-502 refrigerants. It has been used as a component in HFC refrigerant blends well known by the industry as R-407C, R410A, R442A (RS50), R-407F, R-407A, RS-70 ….

However, R-32 in its pure state has not been used so far, since the vapor pressure and discharge temperature in compression are too high.

In addition, R-32 is classified as A2L, low flammability.

Applications:

– Splits.

– No harm to the ozone layer, ODP = 0.

– Equipment can be refilled in case of leakage.

– Global Warming Potential (GWP): 675.

– Boiling point at 1.013 bar (ºC): -51.6

– Temperature glide or glide (ºC): 0

– Saturated vapor density at 25ºC (kg/m3): 47.31

– UN NO.: 3252

– Safety classification: A2L. Low toxicity and low flammability.

– 9 kg
– 5 kg
– 1.8 kg
– 0.78 kg
